Prior to providing wealth management services, Charles worked as a CPA in public accounting with the tax firms Arthur Andersen and Deloitte Touche. Serving in the tax departments, he worked on complex tax planning for domestic and multinational companies and families. Subsequently, Charles managed treasury and tax functions for two publicly traded companies, Mariner Health Care Services and Radiant Systems/NCR. Charles later joined Merrill Lynch where he worked with high net worth clients and businesses in comprehensive financial planning, retirement, and investment strategies.

Outside of his work, Charles contributes positively to the community by volunteering and serving on the boards of several Atlanta civic and charitable organizations. With a passion for BBQ, you may have seen Charles cooking and competing in BBQ competitions. He has led his team to several barbecue championships and even beat a few pitmaster teams from Food Network. Charles and his wife, Janice enjoy cooking, traveling, and hiking with their children and are active in their children’s lives in schools and sports in Dunwoody, Georgia.
